Meet the Students

Joy (20)"My father who was a professional chef died when I was completing my first year in Lantana. He was the one paying my school fees. After his death I couldn’t continue at Lantana as I had no one to sponsor me. The school management wanted me to continue with my education and so they started looking for possible sponsors for me. I will complete my education in Lantana by March 2014 thanks to contributions from various sponsors."

Cynthia (19) "I decided to come to the school because I will be able to get a job as soon as I finish and I can earn money to help my parents in the education of my younger ones. I have learnt many things from Lantana and my parents are happy because I will soon be able to help them to solve some of their financial problems."

Maureen (20)"Lantana has changed my life in so many ways. I have learnt to be a lady with substance. I have acquired skills in cake making and decoration, housekeeping, cookery and lots more. I have learnt wonderful things from Lantana and I am positive that with all the skills I have acquired, I will go a long way to support my mother with the training of my younger ones."
